Beautifully situated between Vancouver Island and the Mainland lies Salt Spring Island. I recently took a trip there with a friend working at the organic Duck Creek Farm on Salt Spring. Silly things happen when we get messy at a farm, one of them being a remix of T.Pain's Low. Here's an excerpt of the lyrics from one of our farm flows:
Dirty green jeans
Crocs with the fur
All potato eyes were looking at herrrr
She ploughed a trench!
She ploughed a trench!
She hilled them all!
She hilled them all!
And the roots grew low low low low low
-An Emma and Nas RE-cyclable
Check out the music video for the original masterpiece here.

Now please enjoy some non-bullshit music.
I present to you, umo (mp3) as originally released in the album Taiga (2006). (Also, view the video for umo here.) The all female Japanese rockband OOIOO (a side project of the band Boredoms) have been off the radar since releasing their Eye Remix album in 2007. The EP consists of Yamantaka Eye from Boredoms, remixing the tracks umo and uma . Worth a spin, but more albums and/or tours, please!
