The self-titled debut LP (previously known as Ragged Wood) from Seattle's Fleet Foxes hasn't even been released yet, but it's one of my favourite albums of this year. It reminds me of a book of Uncle Remus stories I had when I was a kid... ochre-coloured hills, shade underneath willow trees, dark thickets along slow, lazy rivers...
